Virginia Wine Ohio Wine Missouri Wine

we have pictures, the words are coming soon!

another page that got over looked.  I am so sorry!  so here I am, sitting in Cassville, MO trying to remember everything 2 years later.  well, wish me luck :)

Ferrante Winery, I really dislike tasting from those little plastic cups, but at least they give you glasses to pour it into.  They don't want to stand and pour for you or to dirty a bunch of glasses. Next stop was Laurello Vineyards, we enjoyed this stop.  It was small and actually took care of the customer and poured their wines into glasses :)
The winemaker is on the left :)  They make a Pinot Noir and guess where they get their grapes, did you guess?  Oregon!  The other wines were pretty good, this was our second favorite winery. Love the flowers and the vines... another recommend winery from USA Today article.  It was worth going to just for the scenery.
The tasting room was lovely also, the people were very nice to chat with and they poured into glasses too :) DeBonne is one of the largest producers in Ohio, had to give them a try.
Another great tasting room with another great view.  Too bad they mostly made sweet wines... Here we are (Phil, Terri, Jim) in the tasting room, you get to sit down, get a tray of wines and a couple of glasses to try them in.  They do this in many of the bigger Ohio wineries, it is easier and faster for them...
This was our favorite winery in Ohio, I had to make an appointment to be able to taste here at St. Joseph but well worth it. Phil heading into the tasting room, we had a little rain on the drive there.
The owner and wife of the winemaker.  She was very knowledgeable of their wines (should be) and we had a great time tasting here.  We bought several bottles and I even ordered more later from home and had them shipped.  They actually grow their own Pinot Noir and it's pretty darn good. We had to try the wine burger, but the wine itself was not worth talking about :P

That's all I can remember, Jim always asks me how I do it, I guess when it comes to wine, I have a memory like an elephant, sort of.  Thanks for checking back...
